Punjab & Haryana Chapter - Awareness Session

Events Highlight

Another beautiful chapter starts in the North of India. Today the awareness session of Punjab & Haryana was carried out at Chandigarh.

The proceedings commenced with an invite by Gautam Verma and mandatory security briefing followed by National Anthem. Thereafter, invocation of the God of knowledge commenced with Lamp Lighting by Col Ashok Prabhakar, Col Jitender Singh, Vijay Bahri, Col Amarjeet Singh, Col Amrit Ghotra, Captain Kakkar, Sameer Saxena & Rahul Lal. Col Ashok Prabhakar thereafter gave a brief about the operations of GACS in Northern Chapter to include NCR & Rajasthan. The journey so far, the achievements along the way, the upskilling of team members in this journey and how each member has gained through this platform were covered. Thereafter, Col Prabhakar guided the leaders on the steps that can be taken to raise GACS in Punjab & Haryana, in the near future.

Thereafter Sameer Saxena, General Secretary & Founding Brick of GACS presented achievements, history & goals of GACS. The effort it took to reach a figure of 4000 members in about two years and the plans for the future of the organisation.

Mr Vijay Bahri mentioned that the hard work done by central team needs to be replicated in  Punjab & Haryana Chapter and he promised that the members will work to match the standards achieved by GACS elsewhere. Col. Jatinder also appreciated the efforts of GACS Central team and he intimated that Punjab & Haryana Chapter will also work tirelessly to improve reach of GACS.

Mr. Perkin Rocha from Regenta Central Cassia by Royal Orchid Hotel Limited who has facilitated the event explained the spread of their chain of Hotels across the country, in a short period of less than two decades. This was followed by felicitation of Mr Jatin Kukreja, Owner Allied Realty (Regenta Central Cassia, Chandigarh). Thereafter, Car Cart team was also felicitated for their consistent support.

All members appreciated the efforts of GACS and promised to work towards improving the knowledge base and upskilling of the members.

Kapil Khera thereafter closed the proceedings with a Vote of Thanks.
