The next session was amazing and kept all of us spell bound… It was a life time opportunity to hear about 26/11 from the “Man Himself”.. Sh. Pratap Karguppikar,  ex Fire Chief Mumbai Fire Brigade. 26/11 was one of the most painful moments in the history of modern India.  But our forces bravely pulled us out of that dastardly attack. It is a scar that still hurts within. Mr Karguppikar, brought to us the actual situation, world's biggest fire rescue operation conducted during 26/11 attacks which rescued more than 500 persons trapped in Hotel Taj Mahal, Mumbai. The perspective was thrilling and gave us goose bumps all the way. We thank him for sharing it with us. Ajit Pandey from GACS Delhi and Surendra Singh Bisht from GACS Gujarat chapter felicitated him.

This was followed by GACS update wherein the audience was given a view of GACS and the entire functioning around the country. It was very well received by the audience who were extremely happy to know about the development of the fraternity.

The next in line was the Women Power wherein Sabiha Attarwala was invited on stage to take the proceedings forward. She then recalled the incident  of November 7, 2018, wherein a 25-year-old flight attendant with Jet Airways, put her safety training to perfect use when she noticed smoke coming out of an apartment on the ninth floor of Gokul Panchwati building in the suburb of Andheri. She ran up the nine floors and broke into the locked apartment with a crash axe before emptying nine fire extinguishers. She managed to successfully douse the fire before the firemen arrived. She was helped by her brother and a neighbor. The trio together carried all the fire extinguishers and the crash axe from their own building nearby.
